Start with the actual moving experience
A useful review often explains the route, approximate timing, move size, communication, and how an issue was handled. Details make a review easier to assess, but detailed writing alone does not prove that a move happened. A short review is not automatically fake.
Look for patterns, not one suspicious sentence
Repeated passages, unrelated promotions, coordinated-looking bursts, or reviews describing the wrong business can justify a closer look. Similar wording and a sudden change in activity are signals to investigate, not proof of fraud. Check the dates and the company identity before drawing a conclusion.
Understand imported review snapshots
Review snapshots summarize moving-company reviews from another platform and identify their source. They are not new reviews submitted to ReviewMyMover. Source totals may overlap across platforms and are collected at a point in time. Read our rating methodology before comparing totals.
Report a concern with specific evidence
Use Report review on the relevant card and explain what appears inaccurate, duplicated, threatening, or unrelated. Do not publish someone else’s private details as evidence. Our support team reviews reports and removes content found to violate our review guidelines, whether its rating is positive or negative.
Remember what email verification does
Email verification confirms access to an inbox. It does not independently verify a completed move, a reviewer’s identity, or every statement in a review. Combine customer accounts with registration checks, written estimates, and direct questions to the moving company.
